CCHA Urges Action to Address Surge in Pediatric Respiratory Viruses

Learn more about the recent surge in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), flu and COVID cases that are straining capacity in California's children's hospitals right now.

On November 10th, CCHA held a briefing for state and federal policymakers to urge action to address the recent surge in pediatric respiratory viruses, including respiratory syncytial virus, COVID-19 and flu.  This surge is creating long delays in area emergency departments and straining overall pediatric health care capacity.  There are many steps that families, communities and policy makers can take to help reduce the spread of these viruses.  Learn more about what you can do to help.
